The movement

  1. 1Set the pins so the bar starts at or just below your knees.
  2. 2Grip the bar, flatten your back and stand up by driving your hips forward.
  3. 3Lower back to the pins under control.

Watch out for

The shorter range invites very heavy loads. Add weight slowly.
